1. Make sure the first 15 words of your first paragraph are effective these are the 15 most important words in your entire press release.
2. Drop the sales pitch.
3. Be factual, trust worthy, Deal with just facts.
4. Provide as much contact information as possible.
5. Be keyword rich provide as many keywords about your industry without spamming your keywords. Use the 3 / 10 rule no less than 3 keywords per page no more than 10.
6. Only issue a press release if you have something that is news worthy. Your press release will not be posted if it is a sales pitch.
7. Keep your press release to 1 page
8. Last paragraph should be summary of your entire press release.
9. Think of a catchy title.
10. Don't be boring
